Sundae Bar’s CEO, Jill Kenney, and Head of Product, Taylor Sudermann, joined The TAO Pill to walk through what has changed at SN121 over the past six months, and the answer is a lot.

The team rebranded its generalist agent to Scout and pivoted the mining incentive from submitting whole agents to submitting individual skills, running nine challenges that produced over 1,600 agent submissions early on.

The platform now hosts over 500 skills, with nearly 1,000 skill submissions since the switch.

Enterprise revenue currently makes up roughly 80% of the business, with a plan to flip that to 60% platform and 40% enterprise within six months.

Sundae Bar’s Strategic Positioning

The episode moved through the pivot to skills, the Scout orchestration layer, the current revenue picture, the eval methodology, and the AIM-listed public company advantage.

1. Scout is the new front-end orchestration layer: Previously called the generalist agent, Scout now sits at the top of the platform. Users chat with Scout, and it looks through 500+ skills and agents already on the platform to compile the right combination for whatever task the user brings.

2. The mining incentive pivoted from agents to skills: After running 9 challenges with 1,600+ agent submissions, the team recognized Scout would work better with more skills to pull from rather than more complete agents. Miners now submit individual skill files instead.

3. The subnet is now directly connected to the platform: Winning skills from challenges automatically go to the marketplace, meaning Scout can immediately access new mining output when serving user requests.

4. The focus is on the “non-commodity skill layer.“ Sundae Bar deliberately targets skills that do not exist elsewhere or have not been rigorously tested. Instead of competing with Notion or Claude marketplace skills, the team builds specialized workplace capabilities that people build privately but do not share publicly.

5. Cost, speed, and quality are the three eval pillars: The team built “Eval as a Service” that lets Scout test multiple skills packaged together to complete tasks, then present users with options based on their preferred tradeoff between cost, response speed, and output quality.

6. sundae_bar built 7 internal agents running its own operations on SN121: The team believes in leading by example, and running their own subnet-produced agents internally lets them fire thousands of skills into the platform daily without a proportionally large human team.

7. Skills currently take 2-3 days from challenge launch to marketplace, targeting under 5 hours: The bottleneck is quality grading through the evaluation system. The team wants to shorten the cycle so miners can compound faster.

8. Revenue trajectory (80% enterprise now, targeting 60% platform in 6 months): Current enterprise contracts include a full customer service agent suite, a crypto portfolio manager agent with human-in-the-loop oversight, and several bespoke builds. The long-term goal is SaaS-like repeat automated purchases through the platform.

9. sundae_bar is an AIM-listed public company, one of the few subnets in that structure: The listing gives them credibility with enterprise clients (a “legit” trust layer that other subnets do not have), access to capital across market cycles, and stronger accountability to shareholders.

One Master Agent, Ten Thousand Skills Underneath

The vision behind Sundae Bar is a specific architecture: one master agent interacts with the user, while specialized agents handle marketing, sales, research, and other verticals, powered by thousands of individual skills.

The user only sees Scout, while an orchestration layer routes each task through the right combination of agents and skills without exposing the underlying complexity.

With the subnet connected directly to the platform, every mining challenge can compound into commercial output, making this, as the CEO put it, “time for revenue gen” and time to “light it up.”
